Havana, Apr 19 – The signing of a Cooperation Agreement stands out in the work agenda of sports authorities from China and Cuba over the weekend. Deputy Minister of the General Sports Administration and Vice President of the Olympic Committee of China, Yang Shuan, is scheduled to visit the Island on April 20-23 on a broad ranging program, including the signing of the said agreement.
He is also scheduled to visit places of historical interest and sports facilities, as well as promote the exchange of views and experiences with local sports authorities, according to the agenda of the visit.
For this purpose he will meet with President of Cuban Olympic Committee, Jose Ramon Fernandez, and President of the National Sports Institute, Christian Jimenez, as well as with officials of Cubadeportes firm.
Yang will also visit the national schools of Wu Shu and Volleyball.
