Havana, Sep 5 – Cuban singer and songwriter Pablo Milanes will bring his music to several Latin American nations, on a tour in which he will offer new and anthological songs, essential in each of his performances.
According to Milanes’ official website, the Cuban artist will perform on September 24 at the Montevideo Summer Theater, in Uruguay, where he will sing “Amor de otoño” (Autumn Love), first song of his recent CD “Renacimiento” (Renaissance).
Two days later, he will hold a concert at the Grand Rex Theater in Buenos Aires.
“Renacimiento,” which will be released on September 17, contains 10 new tracks with Baroque and Renaissance elements. It is an album, according to the artist, that includes different genres in one quality music.
Back in Havana, Milanes will perform on October 10 at the National Theater with his concert “Amor de ciudad grande” (Big City Love), as part of the program of the “Leo Brouwer” Chamber Music Festival, which honors the 70th anniversary of the birth of the author of “Yolanda.”
