Cuba and Venezuela Celebrate Anniversary of Comprehensive Agreement

Caracas, Oct 31  –  Venezuela and Cuba celebrates the Thirteen anniversary of the signing of the comprehensive Agreement of cooperation between the two nations, which shows satisfactory economic, commercial, social and humanist achievements.

Thanks to that covenant, 700,000 Venezuelans have been saved by Cuban doctors in the Mission Barrio Adentro, expressed Venezuelan Vice President Jorge Arreaza.

The top Venezuelan leader managed to teach abut one million, 766,000 people to read and write with the “Robinson Mission” and help one million 900,000 citizens as part of the “Mission Milagro.”

He added that Barrio Adentro Sport have served four million 439,000 Venezuelans and the Mission Jose Gregorio Hernandez to 336,000.

The relationship of the Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro and the one pf the Bolivarian Revolution Hugo Chavez was only possible between these two human beings of that human dimension, he affirmed.

He added that the two countries relations will continue to strengthen, we will continue working together, listening to Fidel Castro’s advises to consolidate what we have achieved.

He recalled that at the moment of the signing of the agreement Fidel and Chavez faced the US Empire and challenged it with a new concept of relations between peoples.

He noted that the achievements have been significant but “we have other superior.”

President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro and the Cuban leader Raul Castro do not demand greater efficiency and commitment.
