Luanda, Nov 1st – With the statement that the sincerest passion is the love for food, Cuban gastronomy conquers the palate at the First Festival of Food and Beverage in Angola, where guests recognize today that that Caribbean country has a culinary art of excellence.
“We showed traditional dishes of the island, but stylized and assuming new trends in the international cuisine,”told Prensa Latina the Cuban chef Yovany Rodriguez, satisfied by the great reception given to his presentation at the restaurant Tamariz, in this capital.
Rodriguez, winner of the 2002 Cuba Tourism Convention, conjugated here to perfection his first plate “Palmeras prawns with caramelized pineapple sauce .”
The festival, the first of its kind in Angola, will run until November 3 so as to make participants and guests experience tastings, textures and aromas of many parts of the world.
