HAVANA, Nov 8 – Cuba’s experience in highly competitive medical services and products, an achievement backed by the scientific-technical development and the humanism of its professionals, gets today to over 60 nations.
Within the framework of the31st edition of Havana’s International Trade Fair (FIHAV 2013), Julio Castañer, Business Director of the Enterprise for the Commercialization of Cuban Medical Services de la (CSMC), offered potential clients details on the health care and academic opportunities the entity offers along with Biocubafarma.
HE highlighted the result of that strategic alliance, aimed at strengthening the sector, are the assistance packages involving curative solutions, like Heberprot-P and the CMAvax EGF vaccine.
Likewise, the cooperation program with Brazil also excels, by way of which Cuba will contribute more than 4,000 physicians to the project “Mas Medicos” (More Physicians), co-sponsored by the Pan-American Health Organization.
Standing out among current procedures in the portfolio of the CSMC are rehabilitation, ophthalmology, dermatology and pediatrics, highly demanded in nations like Serbia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, China and Canada.
