Florida, Jan 3 – The municipality of Florida reached in 2013 one of indexes lower infant mortality in the last ten years, to report here a rate of 2.8 per thousand live births..

This result demonstrates the importance of total actions materialized in search of quality of life and health for pregnant women, the mother and the newborn, a group which is guaranteed benefits and advantages in many cases superior to those received in other countries of the so-called first world.

Only the political will, the universality of the Cuban medical assistance, free character and priority measure of economic interests above human development can achieve, a municipality of Florida, the figure of 2.8 of infant mortality.
