Havana, Jan 14 – The 23rd Edition of Havana’s International Book Fair, which starts next February 13rd, will include new venues this year, allowing better organization and public participation, organizers of the event said.
Zuleika Romay, president of the Cuban Book Institute and the fair’s organizing committee, told Prensa Latina that the diversity of sub-venues and reduction of activities will enable greater enjoyment for participants.
During this edition, the main venues for most of the activities in the agenda will be the Pabellón Cuba cultural center, Casa del Alba, Centro de Estudios Martianos and Centro Dulce María Loynaz.
Regarding Ecuador, the fair’s guest of honor this year, Romay said works from several generations of Ecuadorian writers have been published, showing the country’s huge cultural diversity and literary value.
