Florida. Feb. 1st – The municipality of Florida held balance to the work and the results of the Mother and Child Health Program during the 2013, period ended with a mortality rate of 2.8 infants under one year per thousand live births.
During the exchange participated representatives of the Government, the Federation of Cuban Women and the Young Communist League together with managers and specialists of Public Health, have been traced the projections of the 2014 and called to work together in search of reduced to zero maternal mortality or children of any age.
Among the topics discussed in the meeting of the Mother and Child Health Program, it stressed the importance of achieving pregnancy is planned and develop in due time, to achieve this increased survival and quality of life in pregnant women, infant and mother.
The annual assessment of the Mother and Child Health Program of Florida also concluded with the claim to keep strict track of child development in the ages of one to four years.
