Cuba Hosts Int’l Event on Childhood and City

Camagüey,  Mar 30 – Aimed at encouraging initiatives linked to the relationship of children and environment, the International Meeting Participating: Children and City 2015 is running from today to April 1 here.

In the “Nuevo Mundo” Film Complex in this World Cultural Heritage city, located more than 570 kilometers east of Havana, academicians, creators and researchers will deeply analyze among other issues on gender study, ecology and education for development.

The multi-disciplinary event will also debate on human rights, peace culture, health, architecture, civil engineering, socio-cultural and humanistic studies, law, psychology, art, information technology and communication.

National and international academicians and researchers will also examine scientific matters related to childhood as a population group.

The dialogues, to which obviously girls and boys will participate, also aim to aspects that contribute to the goal to achieve that childhood occupies full place in the conception and functioning of their living environment.

The program of the International Meeting Participating: Children and City 2015 expects actions of exchange with children at the streets, squares and parks of the city of Camagüey, and the issues will have a strong cultural presence and educational relationship with boys and girls.
