Berlin, Jan 18th – The president of the German Economic Institute (Ifo), Clemens Fuest, demanded Germans and Europeans to establish dialogue with president elect of the United States, Donald Trump.
In statements to the president of the Munich institute the eve, he added that Trump has clear objectives: more jobs in U.S. industry, less imports, more European contributions
But he added it does not have a conclusive concept to achieve those objectives, thus there is the danger that his policy does not ahieve the announced objectives and searches then for a scapegoat.
He said the scapegoat could be the German economy for his high superavit in exports.
The U.S. president unleashed the worry among the German automobile industry by declaring all those companies that want to sell their automobiles in the United States should be facing a tax of 35 percent per car.(Prensa Latina)
