In Camagüey: Fair of the Book of premieres

Camagüey, Apri 4thd – Two innovations will mark the most important cultural event of Cuba in this locality from the next Wednesday, 5th: the comeback of the theoretical meetings and sales in its traditional space of the center of the city, and the Young Fair, with the leading role of the students of the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz.

The headquarters of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac), the Center of Cultural Management, and the houses of the Diversity and of the Memory will receive panels, discussions and the homage to Armando Hart – to whom the appointment is dedicated and he will privilege us with his presence – and to the historian Mildred de la Torre.

In the Rural Casino it will be kept the bookstore of the Recreational Cultural Center and the very popular Children´s Pavilion, with the narrative projects Catalejo de cuentos (Spyglass of Stories) and Oral lo propio (Orally the proper thing), proposals of texts, games and five places for exclusive sale of literature for children. There will also remain the Tent of the Queen, space of the Asociación Hermanos Saíz, which in the afternoons will shelter the poetry and the trova of the Ship of the Madmen.

Of the immensely program, its organizers highlighted the collection devoted to Fidel; the multimedia about Ignacio Agramonte; the event From Guáimaro to Playitas of the Cultural Society José Martí in its 20th anniversary; 38 premieres of the publishing house Ácana; the first title of this institution prepared especially to be read in mobile devices; the prices reduction to several volumes previous to 2014, and eight promotional videos with important writers who are already appreciated in Television Camagüey.

As it is habitual, the collateral program will take literary promotions and sales to schools, labor entities, hospitals and penitentiary centers and communities, included 20 of difficult access. The books in all the areas could be acquired from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., except on Sunday, 9th, when the closing ceremony is announced for 5:00 p.m.(Adelante)
