Paris, Jun 15 – Cuban artist Jacqueline Brito is exhibiting her work at UNESCO, as part of the project ”Art Camp Andorra: Colours for the Planet”, aimed at promoting art as a vehicle for peace, diplomatic sources said today.
The exhibition, opened at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, shows her work with other artists from many countries such as Nigeria, Spain, Canada, Pakistan, Peru, Argentina and Pakistan.
The Andorra embassy to UNESCO is the promoter of the project emerged almost one decade ago, to promote, through art, the exchange of values and universal principles such as culture and peace, permanent delegate Cristina Rodriguez Galan explained.
The President of UNESCO’s National Commission in Andorra, Josep Dalleres, stressed that Art Camp is part of the respect for diversity and promotion of intercultural dialogue.(Prensa Latina)
