Ottawa, Oct 30 – The 7th edition of the ”Che Guevara” International Conference has concluded in the Canadian city of Vancouver after three days of discussions on Cuba, Venezuela and the struggles that seek today to build a better world. Thomas Davies, member of Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba, recalled that there was great participation in the discussions during this weekend related to the national and foreign policy of the Caribbean island.
They also analyzed issues related to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and Cuban-Argentine guerrilla fighter, Ernesto ‘Che’ Guevara, who gives the event its name, and debated the influence of the legacy of both figures.
According to Davies, the event held in the Russian Hall of the southwest Canadian city also focused on the revolutionary processes and the challenges faced by Cuba, Venezuela and the people who want to turn the world into a better place.(Prensa Latina)
