Classic Brazil-Argentina Game at America Cup
Brasilia, Jul 2nd – The teams from Brazil and Argentina will play today at the Mineirão Stadium, in the southern city of Belo Horizonte, where they will stage a classic football game in the continent.
The winner will play for the tournament’s title against the victorious team from another classic match between Chile and Peru, scheduled for Wednesday at the Arena do Gremio, in Porto Alegre.
Brazil will play in Mineirão nearly five years after one of its worst losses on its territory, where the team was defeated 1-7 by Germany in the World Cup on June 8, 2014.
However, the Brazilian team is considered the favorite against Argentina, which lost the first game in Group B to Colombia, tied with Paraguay and defeated Qatar.(Prensa Latina)
