Cuba to launch new cigar in Switzerland

Cuba, Jul 13rd – The international corporation Habanos S.A. has notified in Havana Wednesday a special presentation for Switzerland on July 12 of the new brand of Punch, Short de Punch.

This Wednesday’s report indicates that Habanos, S.A., through its exclusive distributor for Switzerland, Intertabak AG, will launch in world premiere the new cigar band of the Punch brand, Short de Punch ( clamp or diameter of 5 per 120 millimeters long).

With this new product, the Punch brand of cigars incorporates for the first time the 50 Clamp in its portfolio, thus expanding the exquisite flavor of the brand.

Short de Punch appears in a Semi Boite Nature (SBN) box with 10 cigars made ‘ Completely by Hand with Long filler’, after a careful selection of the sheets of layer, filler and capote coming from the region of Vuelta Abajo, Pinar del Rio (west of Cuba).

The presentation will take place on July 12 at the Storchen Hotel in Zurich and will have 250 participants who will have the privilege of knowing and tasting for the first time this new vitola of Punch, thick caliber and short distance in its smoke, with the flavor characteristic of the brand.
