The continuity of the school year demands the support of family members and students

June 2021.- The continuity of the 2020-2021 school year is a concern for the majority of the family with children of school age.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the usual teaching process was interrupted, however, the Ministry of Education, together with other sectors, organized educational programming through the teleclass modality, to guarantee that students receive the necessary content and continue their preparation.

In the midst of the current epidemiological situation through which the municipality is passing, teachers have maintained attention to schoolchildren through various alternatives such as the use of new information technology.

As the Minister of Education recently explained in the Roundtable space, in each territory the school year will restart depending on the hygienic and sanitary conditions, and in most cases this process should take place in the month of September.

The discipline and responsibility of the students and their families is essential so that the conditions are favorable and, as expected, return to the classrooms to complete the current school calendar.

At this stage, the best way to support educators is to raise awareness of the importance of viewing teleclasses and complying with the hygienic measures established to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Successfully completing this 2020-2021 course and starting the next school term is a purpose that requires the interest and commitment of teachers, but without a doubt it also needs the support and commitment of the family and students.
