Florida Peasant Support Continues to Local Hospital Institutions

Florida, July 3 – The solidarity, altruism and sense of duty of the Cuban people are essential principles to overcome together the current economic and epidemiological situation that the world and the country are going through, in the midst of which hundreds of acts stand out every day of love for the country, of respect for the life of the other and of gratitude for the work of the Revolution.

This is demonstrated by the most recent delivery of a donation of agricultural food by the farmers of the Romárico Cordero credit and services cooperative (CCS) for patients admitted to the Leopoldo Rey Sampayo pediatric hospital in the municipality of Florida.

The new contribution of meats and grains to the main institution that defends child health in the territory joins the extensive list of support from the peasant sector to the local health care system, where the donation of numerous kilograms of bovine meat to hospitals and other social centers in the region based on the manifest will of the farmers themselves.

In the particular case of the CCS Romárico Cordero of the municipality of Florida, it is essential to highlight its commendable trajectory in solidarity missions, in which the desire to be useful of each of the farmers that make it up, the drive of its leadership executive, the political-ideological work of the grassroots organization of the National Association of Small Farmers and the collective gratitude to the work of the Revolution and of Fidel in the agricultural sphere.
