Florida, July 31 – The leadership of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) in the municipality of Florida recognized with the Youth for Life distinction those who most excel in agricultural work that often takes place in productive poles and agricultural centers existing in the territory.
On this occasion the recognition was received by volunteer workers from the Education, Sports and Culture sectors, for their unconditional support to the important task, the working day was also enlivened by the performance of the young people of the Brigade of Instructors of Art José Martí.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the effort has been materialized in tasks such as planting bananas, cassava, sugarcane, cleaning furrows, cultural attention to crops, as well as the sanitation of land destined for new productions and in all tasks where youth strength is required.
Youth for Life award to the most outstanding in productive work, convened by the UJC in Florida, a well-deserved recognition for their participation in the important task of producing food for the people.
