Prague, Aug 4.- The Czech-Cuban Friendship Association rejected the statement of the European Union (EU) on the July 11 riots in the Caribbean nation and criticized the interference of bloc authorities, diplomatic sources reported today.
Through a statement, the organization regretted the support of the Czech Foreign Ministry for the document issued on Thursday by the EU’s high representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, in which the reality of the largest of the Antilles is manipulated.
The Association clarified that this is not the position of the Czech people and denounced the aggressions and the media war of the United States against Cuba.
He also condemned the recent terrorist attack on the Cuban embassy in Paris, France, which he attributed to the campaign of hate and violence organized from Washington.
The United States continues to play the role of an aggressor who does not know human rights and only wants to usurp power, the text asserts and demands the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on Cuba for six decades.
