Florida, Jan 17.- The family of Sports in Florida commemorated this January 14 the 60th Anniversary of the National Baseball Series, with the development of a children’s friendly match in the field known as “El Beisbolito” in this municipality.
Before the game, former Floridian baseball players who were part of Camagüey’s teams in National Championships were recognized, and among those present was the former right-hand pitcher Oscar Fombona del Risco, a participant in the First Cuban Series of the revolutionary stage, inaugurated by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz 60 years ago.
