
Florida, Jan 27.- The Union of Young Communists, the Pioneer Organization and the rest of the youth and student organizations of the municipality of Florida, pay tribute to the Cuban National Hero José Martí on the 169th anniversary of his birth, with the performance of activities in the different educational institutions.
Throughout the month of January, special morning sessions were held, his legacy was remembered in history classes, the pioneers participated in Martí contests and the “Cuba, my country” festival was held where they revered the memory of the Apostle of Cuban independence and reviewed his presence in national history.
As a culmination of these activities, the traditional March of the Torches will be held on January 27 with the leading role of the Martian Youth Movement and on the 28th there will be a Martian parade in the schools of the territory to remember the characters of The Golden Age.
Floridian girls, boys, adolescents and young people celebrate the 169th birthday of José Martí, with activities carried out in student groups and work centers in the territory, a commemoration that will conclude this January 28 also with important cultural and recreational proposals convened by the Youth Union Communists in Florida.
