Florida, Feb 5.- The municipality of Florida exceeded 94 percent of the plan for the application of the booster dose with vaccines against COVID-19, as part of the extraordinary effort of the Cuban Government and the public health system, along with the rest of the organizations and actors of the territory to defend the quality of life of the people, in the midst of severe economic and resource limitations imposed by the imperialist blockade and by the new coronavirus pandemic itself.

Consequently, more than 40,000 Floridians already have renewed antibodies in their bodies ready to detect and restrict the impact of the different strains of Sars-CoV-2, based on the efficacy shown by Cuban vaccines in confronting the dangerous disease, an affirmation that is verified in the decrease of the serious forms due to the virus infection and in the drastic reduction of mortality in the current stage.

To achieve success in this endeavor, both the government and the members of the territory’s army in white coats appeal to the conscience and humanistic sense of those who have not yet come to their office for the purpose of receiving the COVID-19 vaccines so that assume this voluntary and altruistic act in defense of your own life and that of the rest of the population, convinced that here you have an enviable opportunity for millions of individuals and countries on the planet.
