The government of Florida ratifies work priorities for the current stage

Florida, Apr 9.- The continuation of the improvement process of the Local Bodies of People’s Power, the link with the base through the Somos Continuidad community work program and attention to the most vulnerable families are priorities for the highest body of the Government in Florida Township.

This was ratified by its president, Evelyn Márquez Álvarez, who assured that to carry out each of these tasks, the Municipal Assembly has here the experience accumulated by the majority of the delegates and with the support of the people as the main promoter and guarantor of the policies and programs aimed at the economic and social development of the territory.

“We are going to continue walking with the people; working in the neighborhood and offering answers and solutions to problems with the support of the people in the community”, Evelyn Márquez Álvarez also meant and to illustrate it, she outlined a weekly schedule that includes various moments of visits to the neighborhoods and exchanges with population groups and grassroots social actors.

Referring to the comprehensive care of the new generations, the President of the Government highlighted that work is being done to explore alternatives to increase and improve the recreational offer for young people and children in the city and in rural areas; even, when it is possible she, -she said- she, we could allocate amounts from the municipal contribution for the financing of initiatives and socio-cultural projects destined to the enjoyment of the new pines.

Evelyn Márquez Álvarez held the presidency of the Popular Municipal Assembly since the middle of last March, after receiving the favorable vote of the membership of the highest body of the Government in this Camagüey demarcation.
