
Florida, May 23.- The food sovereignty program is included among the priorities of the group of workers from the Julio Antonio Mella urban basic secondary school (ESBU) of the Rodolfo Ramírez Esquivel Popular Council, of the municipality of Florida.
The planting of bananas, sweet potatoes, cassava, along with condiments, vegetables and fruit trees is included among the actions developed in the institution with the purpose of supplying the school canteen and guaranteeing the food of the 130 students of the center and the group of workers.
The link of the students with the cultivable areas of the school contributes to the good condition of the crops and is part of the vocational training and education for work actions organized in this school.
