Radio Florida reached first place in the Provincial Festival

Florida, May 24.- Radio Florida Station was the best among its peers in the 33rd edition of the Provincial Festival of this communication medium in Camagüey, one of those who with their work contributed to this result is the journalist Pedro Pablo Sáez Herrera, who won three first prizes in the Reportage and Commentary genres related to the topic of saving the sugar agribusiness and the Patria y Vida chronicle, as well as a mention for an article related to the inviolability of wages.

Other Floridian radio broadcasters who were awarded in this event that rewards the creativity and quality of communication products were the journalist Marisol León Álvarez, who won first place in the Testimony genre, as well as the computer scientist Arisbel Peña for Multimedia 53 years of the Radio in Florida.

Directors Arcilio Rainel Peláez Conde also received the First Prize for the Newscast Acontecer, and David Hernández Almira for the Social Facilitation magazine El Mensajero, as well as Yanoris Mendoza Herrera, specialist in Propaganda of Radio Florida, with a Message of Public Good related to anti-Covid-19 vaccination for the child population.

Other recognitions were won by the Floridian radio broadcasters such as the mention of the Documentary Sugar and baseball, presented by the journalist Yunier Soler Castellanos, and for these results in the main competitive event of the Radio system in Camagüey, the Florida municipal station will host of the Provincial Festival of the coming year 2023.
