Florida, May 25.- With an enrollment of 130 students and 30 teachers, in the urban basic high school (ESBU) Julio Antonio Mella, located in the rural community of La Tomatera, in the municipality of Florida, vocational training actions are prioritized.
With the intention of guaranteeing the continuity of the students’ studies and preparing them to decide on their future educational centers, in said institution there are circles of Pedagogical interest, Road Education, Agronomy and Health, among others.
Ms. Yoilet Aguilar, deputy director of the school, explained that they give special interest to the training of new educators, for which they work in a differentiated way with schoolchildren interested in teaching.
The preparation of students with the aspiration to enroll in the Pre-University Vocational Institute of Exact Sciences of Camagüey is also included among the actions that are implemented in the ESBU Julio Antonio Mella of the rural community of La Tomatera, in view of the process of continuity of studies. .
