
Florida, Dec 8.- To celebrate the 98th anniversary of the declaration of the municipal term of Florida, from December 9 to 15, the Florida Culture Week will be held, with a program of activities that includes galas, music festival , tributes, concerts, popular art fair and much more in the institutions of the sector, in the neighborhoods and communities.
This celebration is dedicated to five personalities of the local culture, they are Marilín Rabí and Isabel Cepeda, members of the Catalog of Excellence of the Cuban Institute of Music; and Enrique García González, sound producer and program director, with more than 40 years of work at the Radio Florida Station.
During these days, a tribute will also be paid to Gelania Cabrera, an outstanding beekeeper in the territory, the province, and the country, and Belkis Vásquez, a composer of music for children and adults, who is also a cultural promoter in the community.
