Florida, Mar 23.- More than a thousand pioneers and students of Higher Secondary Education will be linked to the 136 electoral colleges set up in the municipality of Florida for the legislative elections on March 26 where they will be able to elect the members of the National Assembly of the Popular Power in its X Legislature.
This was explained by Hianny Cabrera, first secretary of the Union of Young Communists in the territory, who highlighted the work of children and adolescents, particularly parents and relatives who in a committed way contribute to the development of the different electoral processes experienced in the country.
The care of the ballot boxes, the visit to people unable to attend schools and the condition of observers of the electoral process, are the main actions in which the new pines of the municipality of Florida participate, a tradition that characterizes the legislative elections since the triumph of the Cuban Revolution to date.
Participation and conscious support define the actions of pioneers and students of the Upper Secondary Education of the municipality of Florida, who on Sunday, March 26, will guard the ballot boxes, visit the sick or disabled who cannot attend the polling stations and will ensure transparency in the development of the general elections.
