Cuba, Aug, 17  –  Renowned Cuban musician, José Luis Cortés and his band NG La Banda, will make the “Cuban timba” resound at the Bolivar Square in Bogotá, Colombia, at the opening of the Salsa al Parque 2013 Festival.

Bogota, Apr 25  –  The book “Guerrillero del tiempo” (Timeless Guerrilla), with numerous passages by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and volumes of poetry by Nicolas Guillen and Jose Lezama Lima are among the Cuban titles most requested at the Bogotá book fair (Filbo 2013).
