Continue readingFlorida, Aug. 13-Just three months and 11 days after the triumph of the Revolution and one month and 5 days after the signing of the first Agrarian Reform Law, Fidel Castro visited the San Antonio rice community on April 12, 1959; After that first visit, the Leader of the Cuban Revolution was in Florida on three more occasions, always to promote the socioeconomic development of the municipality with his support.
