Incorporated in Florida Internal Audit Unit of its local subordination

Florida, Sep 18.- The Board of Directors in the municipality of Florida becomes the first in the province of Camagüey to establish an Internal Audit Unit of its local subordination, to strengthen the control action over the use of finances and resources for public services.
The team is made up of four auditors with the mission of auditing the activities of the nine budgeted units of the Florida territory, and in them contribute to strengthening the essential internal control measures to prevent embezzlement or other irregularities.

The official presentation of the auditing entity created in Florida was attended here by Andrés Bueno Guerrero, Director of the Central Internal Audit Unit in Camagüey, who valued the training of the team of professional women to strengthen administration controls public.

The new audit unit is subordinate to the municipal government and is in charge of ensuring the correct use of the state budget, as well as increasing the confrontation and sanctioning illegalities and acts of corruption that put the quality of the population’s services at risk.
